New groups coming to the CARE Centers!

During these hard times of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is more important than ever to connect with those around us however we can; especially those who may be going through the same struggles and situations as you might be. We here at the Plaquemines Community CARE Centers are looking for ways to bring our community together by hosting virtual group sessions to discuss various ongoing topics that we are all facing.

Please help us by filling out this Group Interest Form if you or your child may be interested in attending! You can also help by sharing this with your friends, family, and community members that you think may be interested!

The C.A.R.E. Center is here for you!

The Plaquemines Community CARE Center has taken great steps to continue serving those in need of mental health services while also working to reduce the threat of COVID-19 to our employees and clients.

In order to ensure the highest level of prevention of the virus, we have successfully moved all of our interactions to a virtual platform. This allows clients and staff to work together remotely and avoid disruption to treatment. Current clients are able to receive teletherapy services through a HIPAA compliant online platform. We are also accepting new clients who are interested in beginning services at this time.

We at the CARE Center are fully committed to meeting the needs of our clients while also protecting the community from the spread of COVID-19. We are FULLY OPERATIONAL while working remotely, and teletherapy services are LIVE for those who are interested.

If you would like to reach your current clinician, or schedule an intake appointment to begin services, please call our office at 504-393-5750.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times, and please know that the CARE Center is here for you. Stay healthy everyone!
